While she always wore and smile and fully intended to fill her role of marrying a man who she did not fully love, deep down she felt life had dealt her an unfair hand. A chance to study magic, swordsmanship and live a free life...it was all a distant dream. The love of her father and what she perceived and affection of her mother ensured that she was content. Then came her half brother, the one they called Orgullo Her new brother. A half dragon. And the boy who changed everything. He was shunned by the majority of his siblings, their father spiraled into a depression that consumed the kingdom, and her mother became a volatile woman whose only compassion fell to the youngest of suns. Her adolescence was spent witnessing her family crumble and splinter into something monstrous. The turning point came with the supposed suicide of her mother, which she knew was the product of her younger brother Invidia and his twisted desires. Her warm smile faded and her heart grew cold. As her fellow siblings decided to assassinate their father, she played her part. She was not above revenge, in fact she wholeheartedly embraced it. For allowing everything he loved to turn to ashes, she plunge her dagger deep, knowingly staining her soul. However, she also saved a life that day. As Invidia tried to kill their half brother, she defended him with sublime sword skills, and carved up the monster responsible for the murder of her mother to the point of death. In her mind she had been the one to kill Orgullo, kill his identity, so he could be free to live a life of the war to come. A courtesy for being so kind to her over the years. With her final good deed, she left the capital that was soon to wither, and went about on her journey to become the one thing she had been denied; a warrior. As the years roled by Colera became a swordsman of unmatched skill, and quickly grew a following that became the most feared mercenary group in all of Rivellon. As her siblings began clash with their armies, she waited passionately and gathered the spoils of war until she was ready to take to the battlefield, and bring down a terrible fury on all those who had wronged her.
All those souls that shackled me, kept me in the shadows. I'm going to kill them all. I will bring down my wrath on this wretched empire, and when the dust settles, I will take my place on the throne forged from the bones of my enemies. My crown shall not be of gold, but carved from each of your skulls, my beloved brothers."
